當大腦成為分心機器 · When the Brain Becomes a Distraction Machine When the Brain Becomes a Distraction Machine · 當大腦成為分心機器

When distraction is no longer just "there's a phone outside you" — when it has entered the nervous system, become the body's default setting, and the brain itself has learned to call for stimulation — standard mindfulness can no longer fully address it. GBSD does not suppress distraction. It makes the escape impulse visible.

Standard mindfulness handles distraction this way:

The Key Difference
GBSD does not rush to "come back." It stays at the moment the impulse arises, and asks: What exactly am I trying to escape right now? This turns distraction from an "attention error" into a visible escape impulse.

Feel the Impulse Before It MovesMaking the escape visible in the body
G 的目的Purpose of G
G is not about achieving calm. It is about slowing down enough so that the "wanting to escape" impulse becomes visible inside the body — before the hand has already reached for the phone.

Name the Escape — Then Stop ItTurning distraction from "attention failure" into a visible impulse

GBSD's first move is not "return to breath" — it is: What am I trying to escape from right now? Naming the direction of escape is the entry point for interrupting the automatic response.

"Is it I who escapes —
or am I being captured?"

This question needs no answer. It inserts a crack in speed — so the automatic response cannot immediately complete itself.

This Impulse Was Trained Into YouNot produced by you alone — but you are participating in it

GBSD does not ask "why do I have no self-control?" It asks: Which forces jointly trained this impulse into me? And deeper: before you even "chose" — what had already been arranged for you?

Change One Connection PointNot to destroy the distraction machine — but to build a different response inside it

D does not ask you to escape into a "media-free world." It asks you to design one small reconfiguration: to give the automatic reaction (reaction) a chance to become a response (response). The difference between reaction and response is the gap between impulse and action.

GBSD's work is not to pull attention back, but to see why it wanted to leave — to see how the escape impulse was trained, how escape becomes capture, to insert a koan-interruption before automatism completes itself, and to finally reassemble a subject capable of response rather than only flight.
